Detailed description of Villages Golf & Country Club, Eighteen Hole

Villages Golf & Country Club, is a Private, 27 hole golf facility located in San Jose, California. The facility has an 18-hole par-72 course and a 9-hole par-3 course. The courses are owned by the The Villages HOA. The Villages is a gated senior-only community of 1,500 residences.

Both courses opened for play in 1970. The courses were designed by Robert Muir Graves who also redesigned both courses in 1989.

The Villages golf course is positioned on the slopes of the rolling foothills of the Evergreen district in southeastern San Jose. There are eight water hazards that come into play throughout the Eighteen Hole Course.

Blue tees: par-72, 6,707 yards, 71.7 / 122

White tees: par-72, 6,338 yards, 70.0 / 119

Red tees: par-72, 5,851 yards, 72.2/ 120

In addition to the championship 18 hole course, the Villages has a lovely nine-hole, par-3 course, which is ideal for beginners or seasoned golfers who want to improve their short game (pitching and putting).
